The WDC held its third annual Greenway clean-up event on May 7, 2019. Over 25 members, friends, and neighbors came together to help ready the Greenway for summer. We had a great time working with Greenway staff, installing around 250 native perennials and 15 shrubs to enhance some areas in the Wharf District garden beds.
Special thanks to the Greenway Conservancy team including our gardening leaders Darrah, Steph, and Dylan. Dylan has promised to keeping a watchful eye over our plantings throughout the season!
After the planting event, volunteers were treated to pizza and beverages at the Harborside Inn, a Wharf District Council member.
